Christian Cabrera – Customer Service Representative

christian-cabrera-vaHi There! My name is Christian M. Cabrera; I’m 23 years of age. I was born and raised in Davao City. You can say I’m truly a Davaoeño because I know all the streets here in our city, every shortcut and every alley, I know a lot of beautiful malls, beaches and many good tourist spots you can go to. If you’re new here and you want to explore the city, I can tour you to all the exciting places here in our city. Simply put, I can be your personal tour guide. You can ask questions and I can answer them with full details and clear information. I’m fun to talk with, and easily get along with others.

I maybe suited as a local tourist guide, because I have the ideas and the personality for that kind of job. But I am actually working as a Customer Service Representative, although it has the same role or task in terms of keeping the client or customer engaged and I provide solutions to their needs. The only difference is how you communicate with your client. As a tour guide, they can talk to you personally face to face – no interruptions. But as a Customer Care Representative, you only communicate with your client via phone. And to be an effective communicator, you need to be able to listen and acknowledge your client’s concerns and make them feel reassued that their problems will be resolved.

I have 4 years worth of experience working in the BPO industry. I started as a sales agent who offers free quotations to our clients for their insurance. I also worked as a Customer Billing Representative for a Debit Card Fund Institution and Billing Representative at a Telco Company in the US.

christian-cabrera-vaI was content with my old job, until the pandemic happened. I didn’t want to work at the site to ensure the safety of my family. I requested to get a work from home set up but I was not granted, so I decided to end my contract and became a freelancer. Luckily, I was able to find work for the meantime as a Special Process Order Representative. It was a fun experience to have your own client and meet new teammates. However, the pay was not enough to sustain our needs. That is why I am currently looking for better opportunities.

I’m willing to be trained and learn new skills in regards to being a Virtual Assistant. I know it will be a new phase of my working career, but I am ready for it. I’m a reliable person, can finish my work before the deadline, I’m a good team player and am very resourceful in terms of problem solving.

These are the skills I can share with your Team/Company:

  • Customer Service
  • Chat/Email Support
  • Leadership Skills
  • Problem Solver
