Eduardo Cahoy III – Customer Service Representative

Eduardo-Arnulfo-Cahoy-vaHello! I am Eduardo Arnulfo Cahoy III. You can just call me Ed. I am from Cagayan de Oro City. A graduate of Bachelor of Science in Nursing. My hobbies include playing the guitar, listening to music, playing basketball, and online gaming.

My life’s story began after I graduated from college in 2007. After graduation, I took advantage of my talent to earn, so I joined an acoustic band and got a few gigs. But then I realised that I wasn’t earning enough. So, I decided to get a decent job. I moved to Manila and tried my luck applying in the BPO industry. At that time, I really had no idea what and how BPO industries work. Luckily, I got accepted as a Customer Service Representative. After a few months, I was already longing for career growth and tried to apply as a Technical Support Representative as I was also good at tinkering with technical stuff. I got hired as Tech Support for Dell. It was then I realised I was doing great as a Tech Support.

I have 8 years of experience in combined Customer Service and Tech Support in the BPO industry. Handled several types of support like supporting clients through phone, email, and chat. It was through these experiences that taught me how to be a professional, learned about proper phone etiquette, creating reports and documentations, and how to multitask.

Since I got years of experience as a Tech Support, I started my own small internet café business. The business was running smoothly during the first year, but then, competition started to rise within the same vicinity so customers and profit were shared. So instead of discontinuing the business, I kept it running and tried my luck as an Online English Teacher in a Chinese online school.

I can confidently say, as an experienced professional, that I am good at handling people whether it is through phone, chat, email, or even face-to-face. I always make sure that I put my heart into my work and provide the best support I can give. Having a positive attitude towards work will have tremendous results. I have been known to be hardworking and a fast learner.
