Jaryl Linaza – Virtual Assistant, Customer Service Representative

Hi, I’m Jaryl Bunda Linaza, but you can call me John. My life has been a journey of resilience and determination. Growing up without the support of my father, who passed away when I was young, and my mother, who abandoned me, I had to become independent early on. Despite these hardships, I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education, majoring in English, from the University of Mindanao in Davao City, Philippines. This achievement wasn’t easy—it was earned through sheer hard work, dedication, and a belief that every experience, whether good or bad, offers something to learn.

As I continue to develop my career, I am eager to further my path in the virtual world. With over 10 years in the BPO industry, I’ve cultivated strong customer service skills, built client relationships, and gained a comprehensive understanding of various business needs. My experience as a General VA and Social Media Engager has allowed me to manage multiple accounts and handle administrative tasks efficiently. I thrive in a remote environment, having spent more than 5 years working from home and becoming proficient with numerous online tools.

My career began in 2013 as a Technical Support Representative for AT&T and Comcast, where I learned to address technical issues and solve problems effectively. I transitioned to E-commerce Customer Support for renowned brands like Martha Stewart and WineInsiders.com, then later worked as a Sales Advisor in an educational campaign. Most recently, I served as a Senior Back-Office Specialist at Unify CX, where I validated invoices, ensured job completion, and trained new hires.

Moving forward, my goal is to continue growing in the virtual assistant field. I am passionate about utilizing my skills and knowledge to help businesses thrive, and I’m eager to share my experiences with others who are also navigating this path. I believe in creating a supportive and collaborative work environment where everyone can learn and succeed, and I look forward to contributing my skills to your team’s growth.
