Jerus Oliver Padolina – Executive Assistant, Customer Service Representative

Hi, I am Jerus Oliver Padolina, but you can call me Oliver. I love listening to 90’s music and I also love driving and traveling to watch the sunset and sunrise on the beach. I took up a Bachelor of Elementary Education but I never see myself teaching. Maybe because it’s not for me and I always see myself working in a different career. But still, I am grateful and blessed at the same time with the experience I gained and positive to reach my long-term and short-term goals. I know this will be a long journey but I know I can make it.

I started working as a Call Center agent in a BPO company where my main task was to answer inquiries over the phone and help clients or customers regarding their needs on their accounts. This is where I started to meet a lot of different people with different perspectives, attitudes, and goals in life, this is the corporate world. I handled multiple accounts which are Retail, Financial, Technical, and Airline account. I was able to reach my greatest accomplishment at that time because I was promoted to be a trainer or a support to the team and I was able to learn more things and push myself to be better.

Then after 2 years, I moved to a different company which is still a BPO company and my role was a Fraud Specialist in Citibank. There are a lot of rules regulations, and KPIs that need to be met monthly. I was able to meet my KPIs every month and I was a top agent at that time for 4 executive months. It was a great experience.

When the pandemic happened, I became a COVID patient. During that time, I started to look at a work-from setup since I didn’t want to feel sick again, I was traumatized and I wanted to keep myself safe. So then I was able to find a US client and I was her Executive Assistant and she’s in the Real Estate industry. I handled admin tasks, calendar management, real estate documents, email management, database management, travel booking arrangements, and more admin tasks.

Working at home is very different from being at an office, but I really enjoyed it aside from being convenient. Your time and presence with your family are very important.

I strive to become a better version of myself and apply what I learn to both my professional and personal lives. I also strive to accept changes and am eager to learn more. I am a goal-oriented and easy-to-work-with person.
