Joshua Ramos – Executive Assistant
Hello, I’m Joshua David Ramos, but you can call me Josh. I come from a loving family in Bacolod City, with two amazing parents and a sister who has always been my greatest supporter.
One of my biggest passions in life is cooking. I love creating a meal that brings people together, sharing stories over a good dish, and making others happy through my food.
I once pursued this passion professionally, completing my OJT in New York, where I got to experience the fast-paced, high-pressure world of the culinary industry. It was a dream come true at first, but over time, I realised something important. When passion becomes work, the joy of it slowly fades away. Cooking became more of a routine than an art, and I did not want to lose my love for it. That is when I decided that instead of making it my career, I would keep it as something special that I could share with my loved ones.
With that realisation, I shifted my focus to my other strengths. My journey led me into administrative support and operations management, where I truly found my stride. I started my career as a Front Office Associate and worked my way up to Supervisor, honing my skills in organisation, customer service, and multitasking. Later, I took on a leadership role as an Assistant Team Lead in a BPO, handling team operations and workflow efficiency. Most recently, I worked as an Owners Corporation Manager in Australia, where I acted as the bridge between property owners, committees, and stakeholders, ensuring smooth operations and compliance with regulations.
What I love about my work is the structure and problem-solving aspect. I enjoy creating systems, organising tasks and ensuring that everything runs efficiently. Troubleshooting issues, handling correspondence, scheduling and managing reports are all areas where I excel. I’ve become highly skilled in multitasking, critical thinking, and maintaining strong communication between teams. I take pride in being adaptable, dependable, and detail-oriented, which has allowed me to thrive in various roles.
I always make time for my family. I believe that success isn’t just about career achievements but also about the relationships we nurture along the way. Cooking may no longer be my profession, but it’s still a part of me, one that brings warmth and happiness to those around me. I am eager to take my expertise in administrative support to new heights, learning more and expanding my capabilities while contributing to a team that values reliability, efficiency, and professionalism.
Every experience, whether in the kitchen or in the office, has shaped me into the person I am today, someone who values hard work, continuous growth, and the importance of balancing passion with purpose. I look forward to bringing that same dedication and commitment to my next opportunity.
