Julian Somblingo – Administrative Assistant, Customer Service

Hi, I’m Julian Somblingo and I’m 18 years old. Most of my friends call me Lian.

Providing the story of my life seems like a pretty wild ride for me, so I hope that you will be interested and stick around.

I was raised solely by my mother, she and my father got separated ever since I was an infant. Living alone with my mother was hard as a child. I always questioned where my father was and it was pretty sad. But all of that changed when my mother met my stepfather. Having a father figure was great and he thought me a lot of things that I wished my real father taught me. Having him is more than enough. Be provided for all my needs and made me feel loved, that is why I want to give back to him.

When I was 10 years old, my mother and step-father had a child. As a little boy, having a little sister back then made me feel excited. I could still remember the feeling I felt when I first laid eyes on my little sister the first day she went home. When I saw my little sister, I suddenly felt the responsibility of becoming a good big brother. Ever since that day I sworn to do everything in my capability for her.

And then High School started. My High School life was fun because I had a lot of friends. Having a lot of group of friends was fun and exciting, some of my friends was in to photography, others were in to cinematography, others were in to arts, others were in to music, others were in to computer, and others were just addicted to math and numbers in general. I was curious and adventurous growing up, that is why I am always finding new things to learn and I am very eager to improve my self in any way possible. I believe that we should not stop looking for ways to improve ourselves no matter how accomplished or successful we may be.

Academically speaking, I consider myself above average because I still manage to get high grades with little to no effort. During group works, my classmates used to rely on me heavily that is why I consider myself very reliable. I am very competitive in everything I do, I want to excel in everything I do. And growing up with all sorts of people that led me to develop many hobbies. I am what others say a jack of all trades. For me it is a nice thing being a jack of all trade because it allows me to be flexible and be able to accomplish a lot of things.

I believe that I can contribute something unique and completely fresh with the perspective of a teenager like me. I know that I can find new ways to help my employer. I believe that these facts should not be ignored just because I’m young and inexperienced, because I know that what I can offer is greater than my inexperience.
