Kimberly Canete – Customer Service Representative

kimberly-shien-canete-vaHi there! My name is Kimberly Shien Canete, most of my friends and loved ones call me Kim. I am twenty-four years old, a highly motivated and driven person.

I’ve been working in the BPO industry for about five years now as a Customer Support Specialist and Technical Support Specialist handling inbound and outbound calls, emails, and chats.

Just want to share my quick story with you. As we all know, not all days are sunshine and rainbows. Some days are really difficult and full of stress. When I was growing up, I stood as the breadwinner of the family who always strives hard to serve food on our table. I started working at an early age just to support my studies and learn to be independent. There were times that I found myself getting into problems and troubles but I never gave up. I learned to pick myself up and get back on track.

In 2016, I applied to one of the largest BPO companies in our country, and working in this industry really helped me not just with money but also in developing my skills and knowledge especially in giving professional and great quality customer service. I am capable of communicating kimberly-shien-canete-vawith clients through emails, chats, and phone. I’ve handled hotels, cars, and flight bookings as a customer support specialist and I was promoted as a Subject Matter Expert to help newbies and new hires.

I also have experience with appointment setting for real estate and solar panels as well as order processing for delivery services. I am flexible to handle changes, updates, and tools as much I can. Also, when it comes to confidentiality, I am very keen on maintaining strict levels, especially when handling sensitive information.

I am very hard working and very professional when it comes to my job. I am a very responsible and highly motivated individual. Fun fact based on experience, in my previous company they usually forced me to use my vacation leave since I am always present with no attendance issues and rarely use my vacation credits. I always think that being present and on time is the most important attribute that we can give to our employers. And every day is a learning process, I don’t want to lose any opportunity that could help me to become better.

And as I continue to work hard, I always have this in mind, “Self-belief and hard work will always earn you success.”
