Menchu Venci Pantolla – General Virtual Assistant

menchu-pantolla-vaHello, I’m Menchu Venci Pantolla, known as Sandy. I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in English from Mindanao State University, I have honed my communication skills early on, setting a strong foundation for my professional journey.

I began my career in the logistics industry, where I served as a marketing coordinator and liaison officer for two years. Although I enjoyed my time in that role, I felt the need to explore new opportunities. This led me to venture into the teaching profession, where I had the privilege of imparting knowledge to elementary and secondary students for a year. However, I soon realised the need to seek a higher-paying job to meet the financial demands of raising my children.

In 2014, I decided to join the BPO industry, which became a turning point in my career. As an agent, I consistently ranked among the top performers. In 2016 I was promoted to an SME. In 2018, I was promoted again, this time as a team leader. In this role, I focused on coaching and conducting developmental sessions, fostering a positive and growth-oriented work environment. I thrived in this position for four years, during which my outstanding performance caught the attention of the company. As a result, I was handpicked to lead a crucial project as a Transfer Manager, where I delved deep into the site’s transfer performance, identified gaps, and conducted client meetings for comprehensive business reviews.

menchu-pantolla-vaUpon the successful completion of the project, I embraced the rewarding challenge of juggling dual roles. As a sustainment officer for our site, I took on the primary responsibility of ensuring smooth operations aligned with our clients’ coaching tactics. Additionally, I assumed the role of recruitment operations validation in charge, conducting final interviews and collaborating with Talent Acquisition to provide valuable feedback on candidate files. Moreover, I took charge of onboarding new hires and leaders, facilitating a seamless transition into the company.

During my final year with the organisation, I embraced a hybrid work setup, predominantly operating from the comfort of my home. This experience allowed me to truly appreciate the benefits of remote work. I discovered that by being reliable, maintaining the right attitude towards work, and effectively managing my tasks, I could consistently gain client approval and deliver exceptional results.
Working from home was an enlightening experience for me. Although it differs significantly from the traditional office environment, I have come to realize that it is the best choice for me and my children. Being readily available for them, particularly during their crucial years of growth and development, has always been a top priority for me.

Now, as I embark on a new chapter as a virtual assistant, I am determined to achieve success in this endeavor. I aspire to continuously enhance my skill set, acquiring new knowledge and abilities that will enable me to provide invaluable support to my clients. With unwavering dedication, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to excellence, I firmly believe that I can excel in this profession and make significant contributions to the success of those I work with.
