Moustapha Hossam – Social Media Marketing

Hi, I am Moustapha. I am from Egypt, the land of the pharaohs and the pyramids. I live in Alexandria, one of the most beautiful cities on the Mediterranean Sea. I am a husband and a father to a lovely little girl. I have a bachelor’s degree in finance and business administration. During my college years, I was that guy who would help and care about everyone without asking for anything in return and would coach and guide anyone who needed help with their studies.

I started in 2015 working in finance for a multinational company, responsible for clients’ accounts regarding the accuracy and compliance with the company’s policies, and having control over several administration processes within the company. So, being accountable, reliable, and keen on details is just me.

During the COVID pandemic, I created a Facebook page to sell high-quality coffee beans to coffee enthusiasts and to educate my followers about coffee. So, I started to translate the coffee books into Arabic and post useful information. That might sound hard, but if there is something I’m known for, it is my determination. I achieved very high reach and followers organically by implementing inbound marketing techniques. Also, being a fast learner helped me to get high results quickly, and my commitment kept me consistent with posting useful information and engaging content.

I would never have expected that I would be an advocate for working from home, and that would be the way to achieve my dream of discovering the world with my family while still helping my clients and making them happy and comfortable. A couple of years ago, I had the opportunity to work online as a social media marketing manager, creating content, scheduling posts, crafting new ideas and designs with a clear call to action, and also using email marketing by creating a monthly newsletter with a high open rate. Doing my job from home changed my life and my mindset forever. I was attracted by the freedom, being able to be with my family, and also achieving goals and helping people, which was eye-opening for me.

I have achieved my Meta Certified Marketing Manager Certification, and I am so proud to do so because I love to challenge myself and prove to myself that I can do anything if I put my determination into it. I am a lifelong learner, and I will keep learning new techniques and strategies to grow further in my career and help my clients achieve their goals.

Pursuing a career in social media marketing instead of my profession made me realise the opportunities that I can get and the goals that I can achieve with my skill set; my limit is the sky. I am ready to take on the next challenge.
