Venelyn Gallaza – General Virtual Assistant
My name is Venelyn Gallaza, 35 years old, and residing in Zambales, Philippines. I have been working as an administrative assistant for 5 years in a local company in the Philippines and more than 2 years with a client in the United States. I do graphic design, document sorting, and other projects requested by customers. Over the past few years, I have learned to value the job and the company that I have worked for. They honed me to be a better person and taught me a lot of life lessons. It was so hard being a single parent for the kids and I have tried hard to support their needs every day as they grow older. I was so thankful to all the people who were ready to help me and my family back in Iloilo, Philippines, my hometown.
I tried hard to train with different tools on my own and with the help of my co-workers. During my free time, I choose to navigate and discover different functions of tools and platforms so I can provide satisfactory service to the client. When the task or tools are not familiar, I always think outside the box. I wanted to think of a good way to avoid delays with the projects and to solve the ongoing problem. I always think, what is good for the client’s company and treat them as my business as well, always with high respect. Prioritising my job and the quality of service given to the customers. Value work ethics and team members as well as the clients. I always grab opportunities where I can grow and learn more. Being proactive, reliable, and flexible are the few things that I have learned and apply to everything that I’m doing.
During my free time, I travel with my kids, eat food, and connect with nature.
