Chris John Limato – General Virtual Assistant

chris-john-limato-vaHello, I am Chris John Limato, you can call me Cj. I am 25 years old, born on December 25th, 1997. I graduated with a degree in Hospitality Management majoring in Culinary Arts from Eulogio “Amang” Rodriguez Institute of Science and Technology. I started my work career as junior chef months after I graduated. My first job was in a 5-star hotel in Makati. I was specifically assigned to handle the buffet sections of the hotel. My main role there is to maintain the quality of food that we are serving to our customers. I stayed in that hotel for about a year.

My second one was at a hotel as well in Ortigas, Pasig City. I had the same position, but I also handled different tasks because aside from handling buffets, I also helped in taking orders from our customers. I learned how to bake different pastries and cakes, and even helped when we are having events in the hotel. I learned a lot while working there.

I started my journey in BPO during the pandemic. At first, I was hesitant to apply since it was different from the things that I usually do in the hotel; it was a whole new world for me. I started as a customer service representative last July of 2020, and after a year, I applied as a Quality Analyst and luckily, I got accepted and started a new position in the same company.

chris-john-limato-vaMy experience in the BPO industry has helped me develop my communication and customer service skills, which for me are highly needed in ensuring that we are giving satisfaction to our customers. As customer service representatives, we handle calls and answer the frequently asked question by the customer, and dealing with them is not that easy because they have different cultures and each of them has different background. I think that made me use my critical thinking more.

As a Quality Analyst, I learned how the business works. I learned that we need to maintain the quality of the services that we always provide to our customers, and I learned how to communicate with my peers. I also learned to collaborate and calibrate with our clients to ensure that we are aligned in the process.

Throughout my career, I’ve received a lot of compliments from my superiors and other leaders in the company, I can work under pressure and am very keen on checking details. I am still willing to learn more as a Virtual Assistant.

Thank you so much for accepting my application and I am excited to be a part of your team and to work with you all.
