Jayson Virgo – Virtual Assistant

I am Jayson Boholst Virgo, 40 years old and still single. Being the youngest of 4 siblings, I grew up in Carmen, Davao del Norte independent since I lost my mother when I was 14 and 5 years thereafter, my father passed away too. Although finishing my bachelor’s degree in Information Technology was a tough one having no parents sending me in school, a friend who was living in Cebu called me that a pastor-businessman he knew was looking for a computer literacy teacher and asked me if I would be interested. To cut the story short, I started a new life in Cebu since last 2006 and spent my life thereafter – energy, time, effort, money, and emotions to the ministry as a teacher for 9 long years, youth pastor, youth leader, worship leader, campus ministry founder and head, and a lot of other microministries in the church. Just a year after I met and worked alongside that pastor-businessman, God took him away from us all, leaving me as an orphan for the second time; and having no life mentor caused me to spend 12 years in school and church not living a balanced life – for the longest time I neglected my career over the ministry.

I then tried working as an Associate Software Engineer in an IT Company for over a year, only ending up sick because I developed huge gallstones due to a poor lifestyle. I had my gallbladder removed and then started my VA career when I got out of the hospital last 2016.

Since then I embraced working from home as a Virtual Assistant, learning various skills and tools as the years went by. Yet, up to this writing, I am still learning as the saying goes, “Learning never stops.” In addition to that, technology is swiftly upgrading every now and then, I must keep up with these motivation of making up for those years that I did not give attention to my career and to my siblings and their children, and establishing my finances so I could get a partner and marry soon — all these for me will complete my being despite the constant fact of being orphan.

Being a Virtual Assistant for several years have taught me various skills and knowledge of various applications essential for the role. Moreover, I have also learned to prove my commitment to my client by showing honesty, integrity, proactivity, resourcefulness, and proper time management.

I am not just a Virtual Assistant to the client, but a family with the motivation and passion of a business partner.

Looking forward to being a part of your business and your life. Cheers to long years of working together!
