Jeniffer Ratio – Customer Service Representative

jeniffer-ratio-vaHonestly, I don’t know how to start my story. I’m not a good writer. Even when I was a student, I wasn’t fond of writing essays!

Let me start by stating what degree I finished. I’m a graduate of Diploma in Hotel Restaurant Management at a government school in Lucena City. It took me two years because I was a working student then.

As a working student, it was challenging and exhausting, but with perseverance and hard work, I graduated in 2013. It was challenging because I was an irregular student (I had different classmates in each subject). I couldn’t even remember all the names of my classmates as they were too many!

After graduating high school, it took me one year before enrolling in college. In the same year of high school graduation, I got my first job as a crew in a fast-food chain. This job taught me to be more patient, hard work is the key to success.

Afterward, I decided to work in the sales industry, I even found it exciting because of the competition and monthly sale quota. Exhausting’ was due to hectic schedules, balancing my time at work and schedule in school. But definitely, with the right time management skills, nothing is impossible. However, due to exhaustion and being overworked perhaps, I missed my evening class one day. My shift at work then started at 5 am and ended at 2 pm.

jeniffer-ratio-vaHonestly, having my associate’s degree is what I considered my greatest achievement. I realize that my educational attainment is not enough because of huge competition. The majority of the company preferred a bachelor’s degree holder. But I didn’t lose hope! I believe that I can do everything on my own because I had big dreams.

In 2013, after graduating from college, I worked in various industries. Food and retail industry. I focused on Sales and Customer Service. After two years, I got married and had my two lovely daughters. I decided to be a full-time mom.

This pandemic teaches us to look at the positive side of life.
I decided to shift career because to help my husband while taking care of my family.
