Jonelyn Lamintac – General Virtual Assistant

jonelyn-lamintac-vaHi there, I am Jonelyn, a mom of two and a Business Marketing graduate. I have always dreamed of working online. Working from home gives you the space you need to think critically and perform better. It will make it easier for me to focus and be productive doing the actual tasks of the job, compared to being in a busy, distracting office. I appreciate the flexibility that working from home offers. I am more creative and focused early in the morning. Being able to set my own hours allows me to do my most productive work for the company.

I used to work as an Administrative Assistant for over 2 years in a Retail company. I worked directly with the senior management, scheduling their meetings, appointments, and travels. Manage their calendars and email, prepare communications such as memos, reports, and PowerPoint presentations. I also managed office inventories and communicated with 20+ company partners and clients daily.

I have been a part-time Social Media Assistant for a Filipino Restaurant Facebook page in Australia. I develop the overall layout and production design for their marketing photos and videos. I create creative and engaging content to generate page traffic and more potential customers.

Being a Virtual Assistant is a challenging job. It requires you to be equipped with a different set of skills and knowledge to make you successful in this industry. But I love challenging myself, I believe I can do anything I put my mind to succeed. I am passionate about my work. Because I love what I do, I have a steady source of motivation that drives me to do my best. In my last job, this passion led me to challenge myself daily and learn new skills that helped me to do better. I jonelyn-lamintac-vaenrolled myself in paid courses and training to learn more, to be equipped and to improve myself to be the best version of me to help my client in achieving their goals and objectives. I can assimilate new ideas efficiently and can work independently and on a team. I’m a self-starter, well-organized, and able to multitask while maintaining a high level of professionalism and attention to detail. I’m committed and put my best performance on whatever projects that I’m involved in.

Over the years, I have learned that having a great attitude towards your work, your client, and your colleagues, plays an important role. Your reliability in handling your tasks, consistently striving hard to do your best, being proactive in handling difficult situations, and being accountable for your work in all aspects is an important factor in achieving success.

There are several reasons I chose this career path. My goal is to grow and develop my career as an outstanding Virtual Assistant. And help my future client in their day-to-day business to the best of my abilities.
