josephine-atunbi-vaHi, I am Josephine Atunbi, a well-rounded Executive Assistant. With proven ability to manage large project schedules and handle communication both internally and externally.

I am married with a lovely baby girl. I graduated from Yaba College of Technology Lagos, Nigeria with upper credit in science laboratory Technology. I have also undergone a series of training in my career journey as a virtual Assistant and Executive Assistant. I always enjoy helping people virtually especially with administrative task and it has really been fun, enjoyable, and fulfilling.

I started my career journey as an Executive Assistant where I worked in different sectors, handling and managing different project while assisting senior executives.

After working for a while, I took a role as a virtual executive assistant at Ladi-Lak Medical Centre to be working both hybrid and onsite. It was really a tough decision, since it was my first time working in such environment. But I took the offer knowing fully well that the company mission and value aligns with my career, and it is an opportunity to learn new skills. I have always like taking new challenge because I believe it propel me to grow and make me become better at what I do.

josephine-atunbi-vaSurprisingly it didn’t take me too long to adapt to the new environment. I was able to improve both my soft and hard skills within a short space of time. I was able to learn new approach to effectively managing project, handling communication, solving problem, multitasking, and paying attention to details. After working for one month, the company already has confident in me of my ability to handle projects with little or no supervision. I could work well alone or with a team.

In 2021 I got another offer as an Administrative Assistant/Human Resource without applying for the job. The company manger learnt of my proficiency and my skills working as a virtual assistant. they decided to hire me. The company wanted me to train some of their staff on how to work virtually and to handle all their administrative task. This opportunity gave me the room to keep improving on myself.

My background and experience so far have equipped me with strong communication, organisation, and time management skills. Managing diverse task and deadlines. Also prioritising and executing task effectively.

Working from home has aways been the best for me, it gives me the opportunity to do hard things all by myself and helping me to build self-confidence.
