René Gildenhuys – Administrative Assistant

rene-gildenhuys-vaRené started her career in Administration and Management at a young age, after she has completed her B.Ed degree as well as a 5 year Diploma in Tourism at the University of North West in South Africa.

René joined an international property group in 2005 and successfully worked her way up from Receptionist to being a Marketing Manager. Her diverse duties included organising events, functions such as fundraising days and golf days. She also does weekly advertising, booklets, boards and logo designing, handles Petty Cash, general Human Resource management as well as recruitment, designating contracts, certificates and presentations, and maintaining CRM and database.

René joined another international organisation in 2011 where she took charge of their administration and marketing department as Administration Manager. Her main duties / tasks were overseeing Marketing, Sales and Human Resources, typing of letters and other documents including legal documents and forms, Human Resource management and recruitment, providing training and orientation, reconciliation (debtors and creditors), arranging salary payouts, cash flow projection and setting up spreadsheets and Pipeline projections. She has an extensive knowledge in legal property terms and could easily create contracts and forms. She oversaw their marketing department and helped manage all the social platforms profile, created a property magazine and did numerous marketing designs. René worked with this company until she had to leave to move to Australia.

Being a creative, diligent, enthusiastic and reliable person, she could easily manage the entire sales and admin team with a great positive attitude. She immediately gets along with everyone. She prides herself in having extensive knowledge in administrative and management systems and procedures with an excellent work ethic.

René possesses an exceptional eye for detail and has above average skills which includes problem solving, event and promotion management and sponsorship sourcing. She is fully accustomed to any administrative task from invoicing right through to HR and training. René has above average written and verbal communication kills.

René is a results-driven individual who believes in professionalism and confidentiality with a motto of “Getting the job right the first time!” – she is definitely goal-orientated and likes to accept challenges.

In her career, she has received many accolades and awards including service excellence award 4 times and she has been awarded administration manager for 8 consecutive years.
