Trishna Hemnani – Customer Service , Lead Generation Specialist

trishna-hemnani-vaHello everyone. My name is Trishna Hemnani, but you can call me Ish.

I am an Indian but born and brought up here in the Philippines. People say I look Spanish or Australian because both my parents are white, which is not typically seen in Indians.

I completed my college degree in St. Paul University Q.C with a degree in Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. After which I joined my dad’s business to gain insight and experience inside a manufacturing company. I had the chance to experience sales doing door to door and even going to different malls and markets to present regarding our company.

I managed to grow our company by five fold, but something was missing and I was not fulfilled. I wanted to create a name for myself. So, I started venturing as an employee since the company will be handled by my brother and inherit it eventually.

I started asking myself where would I want to be. I started working in a security company that makes Biometrics and CCTV as a marketing assistant. Social media was not that big back then so I learned marketing in a traditional way, like using photo editing software such as Photoshop cs3, to make flyers, news ads and managing an event booth. My hunger and thirst for knowledge grew so I studied Masters in Business Administration Major in Marketing.

I graduated Magna Cum Laude and made my family proud. Then, I wanted something more and I ventured into the BPO industry. My first company was Acquire Asia where I was a Sales representative doing cold calls for DODO competitor of Telstra.

I was then transferred to customer service for DODO where I was the all-round from, billing, cancellations, payment extension even technical support. I loved the rush or the challenge to be able to put smiles on customers faces and to retain their loyalty towards the company.

trishna-hemnani-vaI started gaining different experiences in different fields doing sales, technical support, chat support, lead generations, B2B, appointment setting in different areas like healthcare, telco, education, finance, insurance, recruitment, credit repair and even training and business development.

I got the chance to teach and pay back as a professor for my alma mater where I took my master’s degree. I taught English, Marketing, Advertising and Economics and online ESL. I taught for 3 years but the calling for customer service came and I ventured back into healthcare.

I have 6 years of work experience in the BPO industry handling different accounts with Australian and US companies. I have vast experience in customer service, sales, technical support, and e- commerce, health care and a lot more.

I want to hone my skills in social media and hope I can be taught soon.

Fun fact: I am formerly a Ms. Young international, I represented India here in Subic bay and I won!

I love travelling, extreme sports and the colour purple.

I believe I can be a great asset for the company because of my vast experience in the BPO world. I make sure I give quality and optimal results to my company and a I am a go getter, when I set my mind to it I make sure to accomplish my goals. I have vast experience with CRM tools like salesforce, slack, hudo, five 9 and zendesk. I hope I can be given a chance to prove myself and be part of your prestigious company.
