Abby Bulacan – General Virtual Assistant

Good day, I’m Abby Bulacan. I’m 23 years old. I currently live in Pasig City. I’m a proud fur parent to a cat named “Hobi,” named after a Korean celebrity, symbolising “hope.” Also, I’m one of the first batch of K12 program who took up the strand of Humanities and Social Sciences at Rizal Technological University Additionally. I pursued a BS major in Psychology. Having recently completed my internship, I am now in the phase of submitting my graduation application. YAY!

I’ve managed to balance work and studies, securing a position in a BPO company. My recent employment history includes a year and a half at Acquire, where I began as a Technical Support Representative, troubleshooting diverse sound systems. Later, I transitioned to a pioneering team as an eCommerce Support Representative, addressing customer queries on product specifications, orders, refunds, and more through emails and calls.

Subsequently, I spent 1 year and 7 months at Access Healthcare, initially handling pediatric scheduling services and later moving to a pioneering role for patients with heart and vascular diseases. In this capacity, my responsibilities encompassed appointment bookings, prescription refills, managing medical records, updating insurance information, and facilitating communication with healthcare providers.

During my professional journey, I’ve refined my ability to communicate effectively with people from varied backgrounds. Possessing a talent for rapid learning, I am confident in my ability to quickly adjust to this role and offer meaningful contributions. Juggling work and studies for years, multitasking is instinctive, and I tackle challenges with persistence. Supervisors have recognised and appreciated my strong work ethic, evident in my unwavering dedication at work, consistently achieving high scores in our quality assurance and knowledge tests each month.

I’m deeply passionate about music, often participating in busking and gigs where I sing and play instruments. Performing brings me a profound sense of relief and joy, making music a source of comfort and happiness in my life. Beyond that, I find great satisfaction in editing videos and taking photographs. Additionally, I diversify my creative pursuits by undertaking freelance hosting, showcasing a range of interests and skills.

Working from home has been a game-changer for me, having previously dealt with the stress of commuting and traffic. The time saved is significant, providing flexibility to structure my work hours more efficiently. This change has positively impacted my well-being and allowed for cost savings. Remote work has not only enhanced my work-life balance but also made my workspace more comfortable. Overall, transitioning to remote work has improved my efficiency and quality of life.

My aspiration is to achieve success in life, contribute significantly to my family’s financial well-being, and explore the world. I envision leading a fulfilling life, characterised by success and the ability to travel extensively. Remote jobs, like the ones your company offers, align perfectly with my dream. They provide the flexibility to work from different locations, allowing me to balance a successful career with the freedom to explore and enjoy life to the fullest.
