Arian Kyle Tayo – Graphics Designer & Web Developer

arain-kyle-tayo-profileHi, my name is Arian, but you can call me yan.

I am a graduate of Information Technology. I am a passionate, hardworking, and trustworthy person. During my spare time, I watch Netflix TV shows while sipping a cup of coffee. I love going to the beach to hang out with friends or go to the mountains to hike. I’m an avid online gamer and I play a lot with my friends. Sometimes I edit images through Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator. I am a chubby person since I love to eat a lot. I am an introverted person. I love to spend my time in a quiet place and hang out with just a few friends rather than drown in a huge crowd. I love to read books especially Greek Mythology – it’s my favorite book.

Before diving into the freelancing world, I was a Customer Agent Representative at a BPO company here in the Philippines. I handled both the Non-Voice account (Email Support, Chat Support) and Voice account (Tech Support, Customer Support). During my 3 months’ time there, I learned a lot and met some other incredible people. My boss taught us everything he knew from the job and helped us improve our skills.

Not long ago, my grandmother got sick and she needed someone to take care of her. I decided to quit my job in order for arian-kyle-tayo-familyme to be able to take care of her. During the last few weeks of my tenure, I told my boss about my ordeal and
fortunately, he understood. My friends held a farewell party for me. That was really nice and heartwarming.

One day while watching Netflix TV shows, I thought about the word “FREELANCE” and I said to myself, how about I try to work online? Right then and there, I watched videos on how to earn money from home.

One month after I quit my job, I started learning more about Graphic Design. I love to create new ideas and turn them into reality through images. I love to create and edit images. It was hard for me to look for a job online but I never gave up finding some clients. Until one day, someone took me in and hired me for a project-based job on Graphic Design. My past experience with my previous client was really good. I learned a lot about how Graphic Design works and I’ve also learned other skills like research.

I’ve encountered several challenging tasks like creating flyers for the company, but I found solutions and asked my team leader to teach me how to do it correctly. It was a wonderful journey working for a client that helps you to improve and become a better person as well.

Thank you for reading my story.
