Clarissa Louise Icamina – Virtual Assistant

Hi, I’m Clarissa Louise Icamina, but you can call me Clang. I’m from Manila.

I’m a proud mom of a brilliant 11-year-old girl who loves to learn new things. We have a passion for traveling and exploring different cultures and cuisines. Whenever we have some free time, we like to visit new restaurants in the city and taste their specialties. Life is an adventure and we’re always ready for it!

I’ve been a virtual assistant since 2022. Before that, I worked in the BPO industry for five years.

As a virtual assistant, I’ve handled three campaigns in different fields: financial advisory, solar sales and real estate. I started as an appointment setter for a financial advisor in California, offering his services to employees of various companies. I helped them with their 401k plans, retirement benefits and investments. I used tools like Google Calendar, Calendly and Monday.com to schedule appointments.

I also did cold calling for his solar sales business in Hawaii, explaining the benefits of having solar panels and booking home assessments. I contacted potential customers by phone and email and followed up with them regularly.  I made sure that his appointments were confirmed by email and text messages. I valued his time and didn’t want him to waste it on no-shows. I’m a person who can juggle multiple tasks at once and manage my time well. I always get the job done.

I was in charge of hiring new Virtual Assistants for the business. I made sure the data I entered into the computer was accurate and complete. I also fixed any errors and removed any unnecessary files. I kept track of the candidates’ files, activities, opportunities, and references. I searched for qualified applicants on various platforms and websites. I also called the candidates to check their eligibility, availability, and salary expectations.

As a transaction analyst at Exp Realty, I was responsible for the accounts receivables of the real estate agents in the company. I contacted them regularly to collect commissions and payments, and to verify cheques and property documents. I used email, text and phone calls to communicate effectively and promptly. I also liaised with law firms to resolve any issues with check reissuing, discrepancies and wire instructions.

Joining the team would be a great opportunity for me and I am eager to demonstrate how I can contribute to the business growth.
