Julian Deloy – Executive Virtual Assistant
Hi, my name is Julian, but my friends prefer to call me Juls.
I started my journey as a determined working student of Lipa, finishing my Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. While still a student, I offered web design services as a side hustle, which not only provided a financial boost but also ignited my entrepreneurial spirit. I found joy in creating digital spaces and helping clients bring their visions to life.
After graduation, I started my first official remote job and worked as a Cold Caller for a water filtering company based in Canada. This experience, though challenging, provided valuable insights into sales and customer interaction. I learned the importance of effective communication, persuasion, and overcoming objections.
I then moved to being a Virtual Assistant for United States base clients and worked as a Customer Service Representative for a food delivery company. This role honed my communication and problem-solving skills. I faced various challenges, such as dealing with dissatisfied customers, managing complex orders, and resolving technical issues. Through these experiences, I developed a strong ability to empathize with others and find creative solutions.
Inspired by a client’s recommendation, I discovered the world of virtual assisting. Intrigued by the potential for flexibility and autonomy, I decided to explore this career path. Through diligent research, study, and skill enhancement, I established my own home-based virtual assistant business.
My initial client was a real estate agent, and working under their guidance, I gained a deep understanding of the industry and its specific needs. I learned about property management, marketing strategies, and customer relationship management. This experience provided a solid foundation for my future endeavours.
As my business grew, I took on a variety of roles, including Executive Virtual Assistant in an insurance agency and in a Tax firm. These experiences broadened my knowledge base and allowed me to develop expertise in diverse fields such as marketing, underwriting, claims support, tax filing, and social media management.
One of the most rewarding aspects of my career has been the opportunity to work with clients from various industries and backgrounds. I have helped entrepreneurs launch their businesses, supported small teams, and provided administrative assistance to busy professionals. Each client has brought unique challenges and opportunities, and I have enjoyed the diversity of my work.
In addition to my core virtual assistant duties, I have also expanded my services to include automation, ads marketing, and social media management. I have become proficient in using various tools and platforms to streamline processes, increase efficiency, and drive results for my clients.
Beyond my professional accomplishments, I have also found great fulfilment in balancing my career with my personal life. I married the love of my life and recently become a mother to a beautiful baby girl. Working from home has allowed me to be more present for my family and enjoy precious moments with them.
My journey as a virtual assistant has been a continuous process of growth and transformation. I have learned new skills, overcome challenges, and achieved significant milestones. I am grateful for the opportunities that have come my way and the support I have received from my clients and loved ones.
Looking ahead, I am excited to continue exploring new possibilities and expanding my expertise. I believe that the future of work is bright, and I am eager to be a part of it.
