Kevin Hancel Siat – General Virtual Assistant

Hi, I am Kevin Hancel Siat, you can call me Kevin or Hancel, I’m married with two kids. I graduated from AMA Computer Learning Center with a course in Multimedia Technology, which is all about Web design, Web development, Photo Editing, Video Editing, and Photography.

I started out working as a sales agent for a toy store, assisting customers, giving them ideas about which toys are good for their child, and doing some demos for them to see how the toy works. Then I worked as a sales agent again at an anime shop and became an officer in charge where I managed manpower, sales, and inventories coordinating with some branches that have the specific items to generate sales from the store. After that, I worked as a Government Employee for 6 years. I became an encoder, which is like data entry but the documents are physical copies of the taxpayer’s requirements for their business permits, I also do admin tasks like creating a PowerPoint Presentation for my boss and filing documents, I’m also an inspector who inspect establishments if they already have their business permits and I am also a system tester. I am the one who checks the system if there are bugs before launching. I also serve as tech support for the whole business permit department because I can troubleshoot most of the problems without calling the Management Information System Department.

I also worked at an acrylic glass company/Commercial Building where I became an admin staff. I filed documents, scanned images, and invoices, transferred image files to Excel files, and made folders for all the clients to file their documents. I also learned how to use the software called Sketchup.

Lastly, I worked as a Sales Manager in a company that does IT stuff like data cabling, installing CCTV, installing biometrics and I mostly sent emails to generate sales, did follow-up calls, attended training to learn about the field I am working with, and to have some connections for the company.
With my experiences, I learned that I could adapt easily to change, I can work alone or with a team, I love helping my colleagues and it really gives me joy because I am passing on what I learned, through these experiences, I also learned how to have a goal and how to be resourceful.

I am excited to grow my career and learn more skills and knowledge to help myself and the people I will be working with.
