Mary Ann Esperanzate – General Virtual Assistant

mary-ann-esperanzate-vaHi, I am Mary Ann Esperanzate, you can call me Mary. I am a wife of a Retired Senior Police Officer and a mother of three lovely children. I graduated with a degree in Banking and Finance from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines.  I took up a Master’s Degree in Public Administration at Rizal Technological University in the Philippines.

I started working as New Accounts Clerk in a government-owned bank dealing with personal and corporate clients, account openings, investments, vault custodian, filing, and lots of paper works. I tried to work in a well-known Pharmaceutical company on a contractual basis only, but then at that time, I felt like I was really destined to work in a bank. Alas, I was very fortunate to be hired at the Bank of the Philippine Islands. Here I was able to handle various tasks from being an Executive Secretary to the Vice President to being a Customer Service Representative, a Bank Teller, and an Investment Trader in the bank branch operation.

I spent 11 years in the banking industry. Wanting a change of career and a well-compensated job, I shifted from different jobs to another. I have experienced numerous work setups from being a Banker to a Sales Associate to an inbound call agent dealing with clients in the United States of America. I even had the opportunity to practice in Human Resources, uptaking tasks such as recruitment, staffing, and payroll administration.

mary-ann-esperanzate-vaI also had a chance to manage my own business and applied all the knowledge I acquired from all these experiences.  It actually made me realise that anything and everything can be learned under the sun, the moon, and the stars as long as one is open-minded,  willing to learn, and motivated.

I am aware that being a Virtual Assistant is totally different from the usual office work setup, but, I am confident and I know in my heart that I will be more efficient and as effective as I am in my present job setting. I see a lot of advantages in terms of working from home. It will be more beneficial for me and my family. I love to learn new skills, achieve my goals for myself and my family, grow in my chosen career, and meet new people and friends.  I am certain that I will be one of your best Virtual Assistants and am very excited to be working with you!
