Suzejenn Anne Catubay – Executive Virtual Assistant

Growing up in the Philippines, I was raised in a community that values hard work and adaptability. From a young age, I understood the importance of balancing responsibilities, whether it was helping my family with daily tasks or excelling in school. My educational journey began with a deep interest in science, earning me a Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education majoring in Physical Science. This foundation taught me the value of discipline, curiosity, and the ability to explain complex ideas in simple, relatable ways.

However, life often has a way of shifting our paths. While teaching brought me joy, I realised my strengths extended beyond the classroom. My passion for organisation, creativity, and technology led me to explore the growing field of Virtual Assistance. Transitioning into this industry was not without its challenges, but my drive to learn and improve fueled my success.

Over the past several years, I’ve gained diverse experience as a Virtual Assistant. My roles have ranged from administrative support to managing social media accounts for local businesses, including cafes, salons, and beauty clinics. I discovered a passion for helping brands find their voice online, whether through crafting engaging content, designing graphics, or interacting with their communities.

One of my most memorable experiences was working for a local lounge where I helped create visually striking promotional materials and boosted their social media presence. Seeing my work contribute to their growth and attract more customers was incredibly fulfilling. I realised the power of creativity and communication in making an impact, and I’ve carried that lesson with me into every role since.

What I love most about being a Virtual Assistant is the versatility of the role. I thrive on helping clients overcome challenges and streamlining their workflows so they can focus on what matters most to them. Whether it’s managing schedules, creating engaging content, or setting up systems for efficiency, I take pride in knowing I’m making someone’s day a little easier.

Outside of work, I’m a dedicated parent. My family is my inspiration, and their support drives me to be the best version of myself professionally and personally. I know the importance of building trust and meaningful connections—qualities I strive to bring to every professional relationship.
