Rea Dava – General Virtual Assistant

Hi, I’m Rea Dava. Just call me Rea. I am a mom to a beautiful girl. I am a graduate of Information Technology majoring in Visual Graphics and 3D animation at Dr. Felimon C. Aguilar Information Technology Training Institute.

A few years ago, I started my career as a graphic artist. After a long while, I decided to shift to the BPO industry. However, when I gave birth to my little girl, I thought of how I could be more focused on her and at the same time concentrate on my Job. I had ups and downs, especially during the pandemic.

I became an online English teacher. I also opened a small business which was my primary source of income at the time. But I realized that wasn’t enough to fulfill my duties. That’s when a friend of mine asked me to enter the VA world. And she wasn’t wrong. I excelled and I was able to find a job that would help me keep closer to my family and at the same time work efficiently Through the years, I have learned to understand the culture and environment of the VA world.

Having a good attitude consistently showing and giving your best and being accountable for your work in all aspects is an important factor that keeps you set for success. Working remotely surely has pros and cons but I chose to think of the pros which helps me get closer to my family not to mention the pay I get. Definitely, everyone has their own problems to solve but all we need to succeed is persistence in any situation we would be in, courage to keep moving, and gratitude towards the blessings we received. To believe and not to underestimate yourself. Don’t limit yourself.
