Renz Gerald Santos – Digital Marketing Expert, Social Media Manager

My name is Renz Gerald Santos, and I’m from Imus, Cavite. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management, and after completing that degree, I decided to pursue a second one in Business Management, majoring in Marketing, to expand my skill set.

My professional journey began as a Senior High School Teacher at AMA Computer Colleges, where I taught tourism-related courses to students in the tourism strand. In this role, I was responsible for creating lesson plans, delivering lectures, and assessing student performance. It was a highly rewarding experience, as I helped students gain a strong foundation in tourism and hospitality management, while also developing my communication, leadership, and mentoring skills.

After my teaching experience, I worked as a Customer Service Representative at TeleTech for two years, handling the DoorDash account. I used CRM tools like Salesforce to manage customer interactions, resolve issues, and provide support. This role taught me how to work in a fast-paced environment, troubleshoot problems effectively, and communicate with a diverse range of clients to ensure customer satisfaction.

My most recent experience was as a Virtual Assistant to a Buyer Executive at a software and hardware company, where I worked for three years, providing client service to a British client. I was responsible for managing purchase order backlogs, resolving issues, and maintaining data accuracy in SAP. Additionally, I handled purchase order execution, processed goods receipts for drop shipments, and responded to general sales inquiries, including lead times and pricing, using the CRM tool Freshworks. I also managed PO invoicing, PO backlog management, and supported tier 1 foundation partner lines, ensuring that all tasks were completed within the designated service levels.

These diverse roles have allowed me to develop a well-rounded skill set, ranging from education and customer service to data management and client support. I’m confident that these experiences have equipped me to contribute effectively to your team.

My background and professional experience make this position an ideal fit for me. With a combination of education and hands-on experience, I have developed skills that align well with the responsibilities of a general virtual assistant.
