Once upon a time, there was a hardworking woman who wore many hats – a freelancer, a mom of one, and a proud graduate of BS Food Technology from UP Mindanao. Her story is one of resilience, adaptability, and success.
She dove into the professional world in the bustling BPO sector, honing her skills as a content moderator. Her attention to detail and commitment to quality did not go unnoticed, and soon she was elevated to the role of a Quality Assurance Officer in the food industry.
Her career journey took her through a multitude of industries, from food production to construction. She found herself not just addressing customer queries as a Customer Service Representative in the BPO sector but also ensuring impeccable quality as an associate in general construction and as an administrator in a plumbing company.
In the midst of all this, she also had the opportunity to dabble in financial record keeping as a bookkeeper intern. Each industry she stepped into, every role she took on, she did so with gusto and an unwavering commitment to quality.
Yet, amidst all her professional pursuits, she never lost sight of her most important role – being a mom. She gracefully balanced her professional and personal life, proving every day that it is indeed possible to excel at both. Her story is a testament to the fact that with determination and hard work, one can indeed have it all.
As rewarding as wearing many hats has been, working from home while caring for a baby has not been without its challenges. Juggling the demands of work and the constant needs of a baby could sometimes feel like a high-wire balancing act. The blurring of professional and personal boundaries often made it difficult to maintain a consistent work schedule. Sleepless nights tending to a baby could bleed into early mornings filled with work deadlines. The need for flexibility in her work hours, in order to cater to her child’s unpredictable routine, often led to extended workdays. Personal time became a scarce commodity, a luxury she could seldom afford. Despite these challenges, she tackled them head-on, turning each struggle into a stepping stone toward her journey of success.
In regard to her career ambitions, her ultimate goal is to continually advance and broaden her skills across a wide range of industries. Having already gained extensive experience across diverse sectors, she is not content to rest on her laurels. She thrives in environments that challenge her and provide opportunities for constant learning. She believes that growth and improvement are ongoing processes, and she consistently seeks to better herself and broaden her horizons. Her intent is to establish herself as a versatile professional, equipped with a comprehensive skill set that allows her to make significant contributions in any role she undertakes.
