Monalisa Caluag Cuneta – Finance Accounting and Social Media Management

I have been a home based freelancer for 8 years now. I mostly perform general virtual assistant tasks including but not limited to bookkeeping, accounting, auditing, invoicing, social media account management, lead generation, customer service support, and a lot more.

I studied Accountancy. It’s been my dream to become an Accountant since I was in grade school. I love Mathematics. I love Algebra, Calculus, and other Math subjects. My former classmates find it weird that they see me having fun in solving complicated formulas and always having the right answer while they are having a hard time solving it! I even won several inter-school Math contests. I love numbers so much!

I am a hard-working person who’s helping my mum to support our family after my father died. I was once a sidewalk vendor when I was a teen, a fast food crew member in college and a former overseas Filipino worker before I entered the BPO industry. I then decided to switch to freelancing after gaining years of work experience. Being a freelancer helped my family a lot. I began earning more at home.

I am a Christian who believes that we only owe this life to our creator so better live it to the fullest! I have a strong faith in God that whatever may come, He’s always here to guide and support me, and He’s always doing so, indeed!

I am a geek who wants to know more about the job I love doing and I keep improving myself by innovating and learning new techniques and technologies.

During my spare time, you will find me either in the kitchen cooking our favorite dishes with my own recipes or just lying in my bedroom with the AC on and watching my favorite Netflix series or any new interesting movies.

Being a homebased VA changed my life a lot. And I can’t see myself ever going back to the corporate world. Wearing high heels and corporate clothes, stressing with the traffic and budget shortages… it’s not for me. I love working from home and I love helping clients!
